The second video told about phrasal verb that we can use in our daily conversation. The native speaker teach how to use phrasal verb correctly.
As I learned before from my grammar lecture that the term phrasal verb commonly applied to two or three distinct but related constructions in English : a verb and a particle.
I will give some phrasal verb that I've got from this video but I use my own example.
1. Come across
- to make a particular impression
i.e : Theo came across as a bit bossy.
2. Give up
- to admit that you can't do something and stop trying.
i.e : We all gave up smoking on last week because we want to life more healthy.
3. Turn up
- to increase the volume
i.e : Please turn the music up, I love this song a lot.
4. Turn down
- to decrease the volume
i.e : Can you turn down the radio? I can't hear what she said.
5. Watch out
- to be aware of something dangerous
i.e : Watch out in the river, there are crocodiles here!
p.s : I will post the video asap :)
